Phil Valenti
Phil grew up in Medford, Long Island and attended Patchogue-Medford High School. After graduating from high school, he joined the US Army and received the Expeditionary Medal of Service for his tour of duty in Saudi Arabia. Following his service in the military, Phil returned to Long Island and began working in the hardwood flooring industry. After working several years for other companies, Phil started his own company, Valenti Flooring, in 1998. He is a gifted artisan, and an expert at his craft, with over 25 years of experience working in the hardwood flooring trade.
Phil is proud to celebrate being a Certified National Wood Flooring Association Inspector. A master in all things relating to hardwood flooring, his long years of experience working in the trade make him uniquely qualified to identify any issues and problems with hardwood flooring.
When he is not working, Phil enjoys playing golf, and spending time with his family.
Julia Valenti
Co-Owner/Manager
Julia is originally from Jackson, Mississippi, where her family has been in the forestry and timber business for over 65 years. She moved to New York in 1999 to attend Columbia University and graduated with honors in 2003. Julia worked as a US Park Service Ranger at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and also as a fully licensed tour guide of New York City. Prior to managing Valenti Flooring, Julia was a successful real estate agent in Manhattan, first starting her own company and then moving on to Douglas Elliman. She has been in the customer service industry since she was 18 years old, and has managed the day-to-day operations of Valenti Flooring for over 8 years. Julia is excited to once again partner with her husband Phil as the Manager of Valenti Floor Inspections.
Julia and Phil are avid travelers and enjoy working together. Their son Nash is 5 years old, and their new baby boy, Xander, was born in December 2019.
